Kale Chips Recipe

Nothing is easier than making this kale chips recipe. You can snack on this nutrient-dense snack as a replacement for crackers.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch kale
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch salt
You'll need one bunch of kale for this kale chips recipe.
One bunch of kale before the leaves are separated from the stem

Directions:

  1. First, you’ll want to part the leaves from the stalk of the kale. The starchy stem won’t crisp up well and it’ll be hard to break apart after coming out of the oven.
  2. After taking the leaves off the kale, massage the leaves with oil (not too much!) and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Place one layer on a baking pan and put into a 350 degree preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the leaves are crisp.
Kale chips fresh out of the oven.
Cooked kale chips are on the baking sheet and the raw leaves are waiting to enter the oven on the cutting board.

4. Remove the leaves from the baking sheet and place into a bowl for serving.

5. Serve immediately.
