How to Make Iced Coffee without a Machine
Making iced coffee at home is actually quite easy.
I purchased an iced coffee maker from Amazon so I can easily make coffee at home. This device will easily brew the coffee for you overnight in the fridge. It will also hold the grounds in a convenient reusable filter so they can be thrown away in the morning.
If you don’t want to purchase anything, you can stir in the coffee grounds with your water, chill overnight and then stain out the coffee grounds by pouring the coffee into a filter to strain out the grounds the next morning.

To make iced coffee at home without a machine or fancy equipment, you will only need two ingredients.
- Ground Coffee: Any kind of ground coffee will do. Generally, it’s best to choose a medium roast ground coffee, but any kind of ground coffee will work.
- Water: Regular tap water will work just fine for making iced coffee. You can also used bottled water or filtered tap water.
How to Make Iced Coffee with Instant Coffee
This recipe is a make-ahead recipe but what if you want to make iced coffee for right now? Simply grab the instant coffee instead of the standard ground coffee and mix the instant coffee into the water. Allow the coffee mixture to sit for about 10 minutes and then strain the coffee and place the strained coffee in the fridge if not serving right away.
